FadingRed is a small open source development community started by Whitney Young. Applications developed here are primarily for Mac OS X, and everything is free. Though the software is provided to you at no cost, FadingRed exists because of the support of hundreds of users who have contributed.
If you find any of the software here useful, it is in your best interest to donate so that development of the project will continue. How much you want to donate is up to you. As little as one dollar can help promote development if everyone were to do it.

FadingRed goes beyond what's necessary to give back to others. Giving away software for free just isn't enough.
Open source Since multiple applications are maintained at FadingRed, care is taken while developing them to ensure that parts can be reused by other applications as well. Since all code is licensed under the GPL, other developers can use these components. More information can be found on the developer page.
Medical research A portion of all proceeds generated by FadingRed is donated to various medical research foundations.
