I am currently a sophomore in college majoring in computer science. School always seems to take up way too much time, so I don't get as much time as I would like to develop the software found here. The kind support of users, though, continues to drive me (to the point I am considering taking the summer off this summer and devoting it to software development).

Apart from the whole programming thing, though, I have a lot of interests. I love photography. I'm hoping to get more chances this year to venture places with my camera. I have also been learning to play guitar for a while now. I borrowed my sister's guitar to start learning, and eventually bought one for myself. Nothing all that exciting, but I have fun with it, and that's what matters.

Open source? Freeware? You know you could be making so much money off of these applications, don't you?

Yes, potentially I could. Money's never really been my goal with these projects, though. I started as a way to learn more. They've grown past what I ever thought they would, which is definitely a plus. I decided on open source development at the beginning because a lot of what I've learned has been from other open source projects. Actually, that's not true. Almost everything I've ever learned about programming has been from open source projects. After having distributed my applications with the source code available, it would be hard to do it any other way.
