Everytime I quit and then open Cashbox, a "NEW ACCOUNT"appears under my account list. How can I prevent this from happening?

Patrick, I'll look into it.

MountainAsh, a crash report (located at ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/Cashbox.crash.log) would help.

Anonymous, thanks for the suggestions.

Requesting: a built-in calculator to add a selected series of transactions and display its total; a way to export saved information (maybe in a non-proprietary file type like HTML or a text file); a way to edit the date on multiple entries simulataneously; a summary on the web site of proposed changes, discovered bugs, etc.

Crashing contantly when I change the positive/negaive colours under Prefs.

Would be nice to be able to export the date.

Hi,
I'm pretty happy using your application, but I have found a bug (I think). When I choose to reconcile an account and enter interest in the menu it adds the interest to my account twice. Is there any way I can fix this or is this a bug?

BREWENN, not yet, but it shouldn't make any difference.

Hy,
Cashbox is "Universal" or not, and is't envisaged a UB version.

Thank.

Stephane, send me an e-mail, I'll send you a small program that fixes the files so you can use them with Cashbox. You might have to do a find and replace all in a text editor to change the commas to periods, though. The QIF standard says that the files are supposed to be US formatted, but a lot of files don't keep to the standard. If you want to e-mail me the QIF file as well, I'm collecting files for when I work on future versions for testing.

He, Whitney.

I would love to be able to use your soft but I seam to have problems importing QIF files. I am in France and my bank uses different date format. Here is a copy of a qif transaction:
^
D08/03/06
T500,00
N
PVIRT M. S. FJELDDA
M
^
The date here is DD/MM/YY and is causing erratic import into cashbox. Also the amount that here should be 500 Euros becomes 50000! But that is because of the comma instead of dot.

Any suggestions would be terrific!
Thanks a lot

Ryan, you're right. That's a bug that I do know about. It should be fixed in a future version.
