Thanks for the tool!
It's just what I need except for one thing: apparently I can't sort by label. I tested repeatedly but whenever I click on the "label" tab , it stubbornly keeps sorting by date.
Is it just me and my ibook (OSX 3.9, Cashbox 0.50 or is this not implemented yet?

When importing .QIF files (let's say there is one for each month of a credit card statement) is there a way to combine all of them into one account?

oscar, your bank may or may not provide QIF files. You'd have to check with them. A lot of times these files have problems in Cashbox anway.

oscar, that's not a stupid question, and Cashbox doesn't let you export right now (only limited import).

bill.d, there is no manual. Cashbox should be just as easy as using paper, though.
Daniel, the account type isn't implemented yet, and printing isn't the greatest. I've yet to figure out a good way to set up printing.

Its great to find simple slick usful programs out there. Just like bill.d this is my first try at using using programs like this. It would be nice to search through the support so we dont have to re-ask questions you already answered.
Just in a few mins playing around with it i figured it out i think. couple quick questions. when you make a new account why can't I tell it what type of account it is? won't let me click on that section. and the second question is i'm not sure if this is the way it is supose to print up but when i printed my sheets it does not print the cents on the deposits and withdraws. it only prints the cents on balance.
It also doesnt print the words deposit withdraw balance...etc didnt know if it was suspose too.
