What I did was split my QIF import files by account and import them separately. Then I renamed the accounts to what I wanted them to be. I also did horrible things with the .plist files to have transactions from my import, but that 's not for the faint-hearted :)
If you're not starting from scratch with QIF imports, you could try and import them and then edit the .plist files for your account by just pasting the data into the required file - you have to be careful tho and make backups...

Just downloaded your software & am excited about using it. But every time I try to import qif files, it creates a new account called "import" instead of putting the info where I'd like it. I can't figure out how to move it.

Mathieu Tozer, if you'd like to help, I'd love help. I'm working on it now. The current code won't really be a great place to start, though. I'm basically rewriting everything.

martin, how are you number preferences set up (in the OS X preferences)? And the reports work as long as you set up a text color for the labels.

I've been using Cashbox for 1 week now and it works perfectly, great job ! I just have problems with the thousands. When I type in "1.110,00" I just end up with "28" ... Odd. Can anybody help ?
BTW, the "rapport" graph (yep, I use the french version) is a great idea and would be perfect with the label colors.

Dark-One, no there isn't. I'm working on a new version, though, and basically rewriting it completely. I'll hope that the problem doesn't come back again.
Julie, no. Sorry. Currency conversion is something that higher end applications do, but too much changes too often to code something like that into Cashbox.

But I have one question/problem. I've been using Cashbox with 4 labels so far (that's all I thought I needed). Now, I'm trying to add another label. After I create the label, it works fine - I can use the 5th label. But if I close and reopen the program, the new labels disappear, and anything labelled with it is back to having no label. Is there a 4 label limit for Cashbox?
