I just installed TuneKeys, but it doesn't seem to be working. Is it compatible with iTunes 6?

Evan, that's a good idea. I'll probably get to something like that eventually. Right now there's a very small user base and I doubt there are many extras that have been made. If you have one (or many), feel free to e-mail me. I'll put them somewhere.

It would be great if there were a forum here where people could add their TuneKeys customizations.

You uninstall the program by removing either ~/Library/PreferencePanes/TuneKeys.prefPane or /Library/PreferencePanes/TuneKeys.prefPane depending if you installed for one user or for all users.
Harpheaven. What version of Mac OS X are you using? What version of iTunes? What are your key combinations? Can you send me an e-mail and let me know?

I have the same bug as Alex. I fiddled a bit around, and it seems iTunes perceives a single keystroke as a doublestroke. If you do the key shortcut for skipping a song forward, it skips two. If you do the pause combination, it pauses for a second and then starts again. I've never had SizzleKeys installed, btw.

How do you uninstall this program?

You can try a different key combo, too. That will let you know if it's TuneKeys or SizzilingKeys.

update on my bug... i disabled Tunekeys, tried my hotkey (f8) and it worked fine. I don't know what is telling iTunes to pause, since TK was disabled. Maybe SizzlingKeys is still hiding somewhere on my powerbook.

When i hit the key to play/pause, it manages to pause iTunes for a split second, then starts right back up again. Is this a common bug?

dra,
I'll consider it. It seems like it might be a feature that is a little unnecessary, but I might do it. I'm pretty busy right now with school, but e-mail me over the summer and I'll probably add it. If I don't add it as a default, I'll probably make an extra that anyone can download and install.
