best hot keys controller out there, doesnt contain all those useless features that bog down system resources. i had a quick feature suggestion. any hope of adding support for a growl notification on pause of a track? i asked about this in the growl forums and they said since i was using tunekeys it was a feature that y'all would have to add. hope this makes sense. thanks a lot for such a great util.

I'm not sure if I have the resources to fix the keyboard problem. As for the comments, I don't seem to think that's all that necessary. You can post again and try to convince me, but it seems to me that you'd remember the key combos yourself. If you don't remember them, then they most likely weren't well chosen.

I have just discovered this utility and I would like to ask about a couple of issues ( I don't know if they have been already comented, if so, I'm sorry)
The first one, (I don't know if it should be considered it a bug or not) is that it doesn't display correctly the values on non-english keyboards (those who are differents) It would be nice to see the correct key one has to press.
The second one is a desirable feature, in my opinion, and I think it shouldn't be a problem to add it. It is to add a comment next to each key combination, explaining why this key (to help to memorize the keys) e.g. ^n TAG="Next song"

Well GrowlTunes that comes with Growl does that, so there's really not that much point for TuneKeys to do it, too.

TuneKeys is one of the best iTunes controllers out there, particularly for old Macs like mine.
I do have a suggestion for a future version though: Can the Growl notification popup come up automatically after a song change? Right now, the popup only appears when I press the hotkey. Another related addition would be to give feedback when the volume keys are pressed.
Thanks for this wonderful application!

The source_2.0.1.dmg download for TuneKeys sourcecode appears to be corrupted (my mac says it is not mountable). Can you please repost? Thanks.

The crashes in 2.0 should be fixed in 2.0.1. As for the version checking problem, that seems to have to do with my website, and I hope it is fixed now. If people have problems with 2.0.1 and version checking, please let me know.
